Captain Insomnia Strikes again - It’s 1:45am…
And I still don’t feel like sleeping. My sleeping schedule is completely messed up. Unfortunately, work and other obligations sort of interfere.
I need an uneventful weekend to reset myself. Chances of that happening are quite slim - shopping and christening on Saturday, and most likely more shopping on Sunday.
What does this mean for me? Either finding something to do right after work (no going home and having a chance to take a “nap”) or sleeping in until I am rested. With the big punch to get our app stabilized, I think I may have to live on pure sugar and caffeine.
I’ve noticed that I have become more and more terse with everybody. Less patient, quicker to judge, more impatient - if it was you, I’m sorry. I should be myself in a week or so

Just finished watching Merchants of Cool on PBS. The show was on the self-feedback loop that is called marketing to teens. I found it very entertaining and revealing. MTV being one giant infomercial, either explicit or implicit, but they have NO non-marketing programming. Everything is there to sell you something. Clothing, attitude, music, movies, body shape and outlook on life.
